JOIN US for the 1st Annual
Purpose: Hello Neighbors - there is nothing better in the world today than community! In the spirit of bringing our amazing community together I’m organizing the 1st (hopefully annual) - FC Bocce Bonanza.
Our goal for this event is tri-fold:
1. Togetherness
2. Community Awareness
3. Friendly Competition
What is this event?
An ‘on the green’ bocce event. On the green means On the grass - Just like playing in your backyard.
The event will consist of (2) round robin games and a single-elimination playoff. Guarantee 3 games for all teams.
The encouraged donation is $10 per player. Please pay with cash the day of the event.
The WINNING team chooses where they want to donate the proceeds.
Who can play?
ANYONE!!
What skills are needed?
NONE!!! That’s the best part! Come one, come all - join the fun!
You should be able to roll a bocce ball and have at least 1 person on your team that can retrieve the balls. You will also be responsible for scoring points.
We are holding this event at a park so that the kids can play while the adults compete! You are welcome to have your child compete but it would be recommended that they are focused enough to complete an entire game, understand the concept of the game and can follow the rules!
Where: St. Joseph Church field, 342 Dorseyville Rd
When: June 8, 2025
Tentative Schedule
3:00-3:30: Team check in, visit vendors, roll some bocce balls
3:30-4:00: Game 1 (all games start and end together - TURN IN SCORES)
Break: Mingle and strategize
4:15-45: Game 2 (all games start and end together - TURN IN SCORES)
Break: Playoff seeding, field location announcements
5:00: Single Elimination - play till you lose!
What should I bring:
Coolers and chairs are welcome!
Please no open containers.
A competitive spirit and your best social skills!
STEP 1 - TEAM Registration (one registration per team)
Talk to your friends/family/co-workers and put a team together (recommended 4-8 people - MIN 2 people per team)
- Elect a TEAM Captain to register your team
- Name your TEAM (the funnier the better – nothing the kids can't hear)
- Captain registers the TEAM and themself
STEP 2 - PLAYER Registration (ALL Players - Except your captain - they already registered during TEAM registration)
- Each Player will register individually
- Pay individually onsite *cash or Venmo*
